October 29, 2011 – I am packing up for the Philadelphia Miniatura. We will be leaving for the show on Tuesday since I will be teaching on Wednesday and Thursday. I still have a few openings in my 2 very popular classes. On Wednesday I am teaching Workshop #4 – Matrix Building for Molds. In this class, Learn to build the originals from which you can make molds. You can build architectural details such as trims, doorways, furniture parts or other pieces from which to make a mold. The workshop will include hands on design and making of moldings, ornaments, doorways, windows and other parts and objects from many types of materials.
Students may also enroll for the second day class which will be held Thursday November 3 – Workshop #11- Mold Making Simplified, where you will make the actual molds and cast them in resin.
If you wish for us to bring an order to Philadelphia for you, Order now until Monday at 5:00 PM. We bring inventory with us, but of course we can only bring a limited amount. By ordering ahead, you will be assured of us having enough for you and you will not have to wait.
We will have new kits with us for our petite Projects, beaded teapots and also for Acorns By Oak lighting.
We also have a number of new lighting possibilities. Our lighting parts include Cir-Kit, Novalyte LEDs, Evan Design LEDs and 1.5V lighting for Quarter Scale projects. Stop by and take a look at the possibilities.
Although we are not able to bring a large selection of plastic boxes with us, we have many sizes at home here.
And of course we have a number of new hand-carved wood Ojimes. Stop by and caress a few! They are so tactile!
The new items will be up on the website after the show.
Hope to see you there.
